The PILS Project Conference - 7th June 2018

A renowned judge of the Constitutional Court of South Africa was the keynote speaker at The PILS Project’s conference on 7th June 2018.

Justice Edwin Cameron is widely recognised for his HIV/AIDS and gay rights activism.  He has received many awards, including an award from The Bar of England and Wales for his contribution to international jurisprudence and human rights. He was hailed by Nelson Mandela as "one of South Africa's new heroes."

The conference entitled ‘Strong Impacts: public Interest litigation in action’ was held at Belfast's Hilton Hotel from 9am-1pm.
