PILS members, you don’t have to face COVID-19 legal challenges alone.

Please let us know what information or assistance would be the most useful for your organisation right now.

The short survey will take 2 minutes and we can work together to tackle the public interest legal problems you are facing.

The global nature of the COVID19 coronavirus outbreak makes it a surreal and unpredictable time for us all. The PILS Project want our community to know that we are still ready to step in to assist you.

Our qualified Solicitor is working remotely and can offer initial legal information and advice.

Our network of legal professionals (The PILS Pro Bono Register) can share legal expertise for free.

The PILS Project’s dedicated Litigation Fund is secure and able to give financial assistance to strategic cases that will change the law for vulnerable communities across Northern Ireland.

We want to reassure all our members that the PILS Project will be here when you need us.

  • That might be immediately, to help with fundamental governance questions that your organisation hasn’t encountered before.
  • You might not have queries right now, but as the days pass by and the situation develops, there might be a legal issue that you and your colleagues come across and want to challenge.
  • Or your request might not be related to the COVID19 situation at all, but more about keeping the essential work you were already doing at the start of 2020 going.

Our team are working from home at the moment, ready to talk to you about the assistance we can offer.
  • The PILS office in Belfast is closed but calls to our phoneline are being redirected. Call 028 9099 4258.
